• “Both of my children (ages 8 and 10) take violin lessons with Dr. Geertz and have now for several years.  My oldest started with her at four years old.  Dr. Geertz is kind and patient with them, but also a stickler for technique and good form. She uses an incremental approach to develop strong skills over time and a solid foundation.  They are not just learning a piece of music but learning how to learn and apply skills so that their time spent practicing outside of their lesson time can be just as productive as the short time that they have with her each week.
